Katie is a senior at the University of Minnesota Duluth and is almost done with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology! Katie has volunteered with PAVSA for the last couple years, which fostered a deep interest in trauma, recovery, and the field of Forensic Psychology. With a background largely in research, field work is a new experience for Katie. Her research interests include stereotype threat, impulsivity, and co-occurring tobacco and marijuana cessation patterns. She hopes to attend graduate school in 2020, and wants to continue working with victim survivors and their mental health. When she isn’t at school or working in the lab, Katie loves to hike around waterfalls, go running, and cook!
