Kylee studied at the University of Minnesota Duluth and graduated in May of 2018. In undergrad, she majored in Social Work and also completed minors in Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender studies. Currently, Kylee is attending graduate school at UMD to receive her Masters of Social Work. Some of her previous experiences include the Center Against Sexual and Domestic Assault and working with vulnerable adults and youth with intellectual and development disabilities and mental health diagnoses as an Independent Living Skills Specialist. While completing her degree and internship with First Witness, Kylee is currently a preschool teacher at a local child care center. Kylee says she has a passion for working with folks that have survived abuse and violence and also has a special place in her heart for kids. She felt that being at First Witness would compliment well with her previous internship working with families in a domestic violence emergency shelter. In her spare time, Kylee enjoys getting outdoors and bingeing the newest mystery murder documentary.
