Saige Peterson

Saige is a senior at University of Minnesota – Duluth and is earning her bachelors degree in criminology and philosophy. Saige has experience working in a variety of settings including adult correctional facilities and more recently, a residential treatment center for youth, where she works directly with ten through fifteen year old boys (who keep her very busy, and remind her that she’s never too old for playtime). Saige is especially interested in working with wrongly convicted inmates, victim advocacy and reforming the justice system. Saige decided to internship at First Witness to explore and find ways to be a part of the communal response to child sexual abuse in Duluth as well as apply her personal passion for working with children.
