We welcome all previously trained forensic inteviewers to join us as we learn about Forensic Interviews Regarding Allegations of Physical Abuse.

Course Content:

This training will take an in depth look at physical abuse allegations and the forensic interview. Some of the topics that will be discussed are poly-victimization and the intersection of physical abuse, how to shift focus in an interview when physical abuse allegations emerge, how to corroborate physical abuse and tools for obtaining episodic narrative during instances of repeated ongoing physical abuse.

This training will include lecture, interview clips, small groups activities and a conversation about team take-aways to promote learning.

FAQs

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking will be available at the Lexington Park lot which can be accessed off of County B Rd West.
Street Parking is also available.

What can I bring into the event?

Please bring anything you might need to make yourself comfortable during the course of the day. The Lexington Park Builiding is air conditioned but you may consider dressing in layers to adjust your comfort level.

The Minnesota Children’s Alliance will provide lunch and light refreshments for the day, but please feel free to bring along anything extra if you like.
