General Description:

The Office Administrator’s primary responsibility is to ensure consistent and positive work flow operations with funders, donors, MDT members, staff, board, clients and the community. This includes components of office management, communications, data recording and special event coordination.

Responsibilities:

Communications
• Coordinate agency twice yearly newsletters and other publications.
• Coordinate fundraising mailings

Special events/ fundraising and community outreach

• Coordinate communication and administrative pieces of special events, i.e. coordinate committees, writing sponsorship requests, event logistics, registration
• Donor tracking

Professional Training

• Coordinate training logistics, manuals, space, food, technology needs
• Maintain Continuing Education for training
• Maintain evaluations and confidentiality forms
• Coordinate contracted actor program
• Registration

General Responsibilities

• Support positive environment for families, team members and all others who enter First Witness
• Build positive community collaborations
• Participate in trainings, attend video conferences as appropriate
• Participate in staff meetings, board meetings and team meetings
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Commitment to ending child abuse
• Commitment to promoting a positive multi-cultural environment
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, crisis intervention experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to learn quickly
• Experience working in a team environment
• Creative trouble shooter
• Computer software experience: Microsoft Suite and Google Suite with the ability to learn more
