Frances Macaulay


Frances is an experienced legal advocate for women and children affected by domestic abuse, stalking and sexual assault. Her wealth of knowledge and experience in domestic violence and human rights, coupled with her background in cross-cultural relations has been critical in developing new programming that accounts for the myriad needs of victims of all forms of oppression. At First Witness she served as the MDT Coordinator, Forensic Interviewer and is currently working on advocacy training and development. Frances is an experienced trainer in the fields of domestic violence, post-separation violence and forensic interviewing. Frances currently lives in Madison, WI and is pursuing her Masters of Social Work. She is energized and inspired by the families, social workers, advocates and community members whose radical advocacy realizes social justice victories on a daily basis.
